the House of Horror

A being enters a room, takes out wires, installs them all over the house, and then exits. A being enters, collects the wires installed all over the house, and then exits. The act filmed at regular speed and the act played back in reverse form a decalcomania, creating an uncanny dissonance. A network of power strips, public power outlets, and extension cords connected to the two outlets that are the only power sources in the room undergoes repeated installation and removal.

"On the 29th of May 2020, my friend Miguel and I decided to go for an impulsive shoot. I came up with some shot ideas and wrote a small poem, which was then translated to Portuguese by my buddy Miguel Ribeiro, who is also the actor in this video.
